ABOUT US We are Dale, Francine and Luke, a young family who re-located from the Midlands, UK in October 2005. As we look back to our arrival, we remember clearly how overwhelming it can be when you arrive in a new country and are faced with so many important decisions to make so quickly. With expensive and impersonal hotels or costly relocation agents being the main options, we found only too quickly how easy it was to make costly mistakes due to rushing important life changing decisions. Our experiences led us to launch “Headstart Homestay” in January 2008, with our key aim being to offer new migrants a clean, modern and friendly home-from-home environment to base themselves whilst taking their time to check out local areas, schools and job opportunities. We have gained a wealth of knowledge through first hand experience of all aspects of setting up a new life in Australia as well as invaluable local knowledge, which we are more than happy to pass onto our guests over a coffee. We understand the highs and lows you will be experiencing, and would like to be on hand to offer accurate information, and supportive guidance to help smooth the way, whatever stage of your journey you may be.
